Thameswey Canoe Club is an active, friendly club, with over 100 members of all different ages. We offer a wide range of activities, including pool and lake sessions and coaching. Trips are organised for people of all ages and abilities in kayaks and open canoes, and include flat water, surf, white water and sea paddling. Thameswey Members Special!



On 16th June Canoe and Kayak Store (previously known as Outdoor Active) are holding a Demo Evening at the Lake. Come along to the lake session if you'd like to try out a great selection of boats. (NB: If you are on a course, your coach will include in the session and give you tips on choosing equipment). buying. If you already know what you want, contact Richard or Matt at the store and they will try and bring it along to the lake. If you are unsure, then you could still give them a call and they might bring a few alternatives. Then on 22nd June there is an Extra Discount Evening at the Canoe and Kayak Store, your chance to buy kit at a brilliant discount!

Thameswey Summer Social

Following the success of last year's lottery celebration we thought we'd do a similar day a bit earlier in the season to give our new members a chance to get to know everyone. We will be on the water from 10am with fun, games and the chance to take our non-paddling family and friends out for a paddle. There'll be a BBQ and picnic lunch, which we'll bring and share, then a relaxed afternoon in and around the water.
